This hand held (PID) photo ionisation
instrument is designed to find and monitor leaks of PID / VOC
gases such as acetone, nonane, octane, benzene, formaldehyde,
butadiene, MEK, MPK, styrene, toluene to name but a few from a
very wide ranging list. These Hydrocarbon gases are found in
chemical and petrochemical refineries, storage and processes and
are present in many other industries.
The product is at home searching containers,
vessels or pipelines for leaks or simply atmosphere monitoring,
checking to see if site workers are safe from exposures of these
gases.
The instrument is intrinsically safe for use
in hazardous areas classified zone zero and is stringently
certified by BASEEFA organization.

A selection of several hundred gases are
pre-programmed into the instruments software making it extremely
easy to use. It can even handle a user defined combination of

'Phocheck 3000Ex and 5000Ex offer storage of
up to 20,000 data points. Data is downloaded via an IR port. These
models are also programmable to alarm on exceeding Short Term'
Phocheck is simple to use and has easy to
change lamps. Accessories including a range of PID lamps,
calibration and cleaning kits and PC software/IR link.
