PROTALK
PLUS B1290
VOICE ALARM REPORTING UNIT
The new ProTalk Plus B1290 helps to
avoid costly downtime and disasters by providing early notification of
trouble conditions with your critical equipment.
The B1290 improves on the design of
the B1270 that thousands of operators have come to depend on for their
alarm reporting needs. Installation is even easier, featuring a new
design and optional programming software that makes installation fast
and easy.
Like the B1270, all of the ProTalk
Plus' operating parameters, including the voice messages are
user-programmable, and can be performed either locally, or remotely,
using any touch-tone telephone. Stored voices confirm programming
entries to ensure accuracy, and expanded voice messaging capacity
ensures that all important information can be conveyed in the event of
an alarm.
When alarms occur at any monitored
site, the ProTalk Plus automatically dials the callout numbers in its
directories, and tells you the problem in a clear, toll-quality voice
that you record. If an acknowledge code is not received, the ProTalk
Plus keeps dialing through its stored list of telephone or pager numbers
until the alarm is acknowledged. All input and output status can then be
interrogated so that the appropriate course of action can be taken, and
for remote remedial action, relays can be operated by entering codes
from your telephone.

Cv2
CELLULAR ALARM REPORTING UNIT
The ProTalk® Cv2 is the next step in the evolution of
voice-messaging Alarm Reporting Units.
This unit combines the versatility and portability of a
cellular telephone with the flexibility of a Barnett ARU to provide an
innovative solution that installs quickly to monitor unattended
facilities.
The Cv2's versatility extends well beyond the input
types. This unit can assign its inputs to as many as six different
groups so that all alarms in the same group use the same directory when
calling out. Furthermore, the Cv2 supports up to four shifts, which
instruct a group to use one of the directories based on the time of day.
As with all Barnett units, each input allows for a unique
user-recordable message.
